(The distant buildings were based on Egon Schiele's house drawing as the motif and the works were disassembled throughout the paintings and settled as figures).

작가노트 .....
머물다(stay)와 휴가(vacation)를 합성한 신조어로 멀리 나가지 않고 집이나 집근방에서 휴가를 즐기는 것을 뜻한다. 집에서 여가시간을 보내는 것뿐만 아니라 집근처로 산책, 운동을 하러 가거나 도심의 영화관, 전시관등을 관람하는 것을 포함한다
이처럼 집 근처에서 휴가를 보낼 경우 여행을 떠날 때보다 각종 경비와 준비 시간을 줄이면서 쌓인 스트레스를 푸는 데 집중할 수 있다. 
갈수록 인파가 몰리고 복잡한 곳보다 인적이 드문 조용한 휴식의 개념을 추구하는 현대인의 모습을
건물의 투시와, 자연을 복합하여 차가운 시선과 따뜻함을 함께 표현하였다.
기존의 작품들은 무채색에 강렬한 포인트를 칠한 다던지 한색상을 보이게 작업하였다면 이번 시리즈는 색깔이 주는 힘에 집중하였다.  사람의 뇌는 시각적인 정보를 처리할 때에 경험이나 기억을 동원한다고 한다.
단순한 시각작용을 넘어 생리적, 감정적 효과를 갖는다는 것이다. 이것이 현대에 와서는 컬러테라피에 집중하는 이유이다.
다양한 색상의 어울림과 3차원 화면에 투시와 평면,  회화와 기하학 구조를  (멀리보이는 건물들은 에곤쉴레의 house 드로잉을 모티브로 두어 작업을 하였으며 그 작업들은 작품에 따라 분해되면서 도형으로 자리잡았다.)
함께 배치하여 세련된 풍경을 완성시킨다.
